Our kids have chromebooks. If you have this resource you can try to have them use an online app called sculptGL. They do not have to sign in or download anything to use it. The app gives you a ball of virtual clay and the tools to move it around. You can then export an .stl file and 3D print it yourself - or send it out to be printed if you do not have access to a 3D printer.
Hi Eileen...thank you so much for getting this information on sculptGL tome...I have two sections of ceramics and I am in need of something new to offer my high school online learners...would you happen to have a lesson that you may have used that is basic for students that are not graphic orientated....If not, thanks for just the information to get to this free site!!
I sat in bed for four days straight into the wee hours just to go through all the how to videos for google classroom...ugggggg..then get all the lessons in each class...can't wait until June
I find that the creativity isnt the problem for us. The resources that are available to the kids and the vision beyond the how to video and copying are challenging!!
